This is a superwash merino with traditional brown/black/cream donegal neps. It works up beautifully and has a subtle sheen that adds to the glow of the naturally dyed colors.
Why we chose this yarn: Color Me Happy is the foundational brand for Flax & Fiber Yarn Collective. Owners Michelle and Linda, with help from Sarah, naturally dye fibers and yarn in their studio located in Michelle’s backyard just up the road here in Fishers. They strive to operate in a sustainable way that honors the earth and our community, including harvesting dye materials whenever possible from plants grown in Linda’s backyard and the studio garden.
