This is a super special 50/50 Cormo Alpaca blend, sourced totally from local farmers and spun for us in Ohio. The Cormo comes from the Westfield Woolies, with shepherdess Ruth caring for her flock and producing super fine wool. The alpaca comes from Heritage Farms in Flora, Indiana, an alpaca farm long known for their prize-winning alpaca herd.
The yarn is a 2-ply sport weight, approximately 200 yards per skein. It is buttery, incredibly soft, and with wonderful elasticity and stitch definition from the Cormo and shine from the alpaca. It is perfect for next to skin garments.
