This yarn has a truly luxurious feel, made of 85% Fine Merino (non-superwash) Wool/15% Silk in a Worsted Weight (200 yds/100 g).
In this base the merino is next-to-skin soft but also has excellent structure and elasticity, with the silk adding a luster and drape that elevates the yarn and really makes the colors from natural dyes glow. The twist is a 2-ply, adding to the drapey softness of this base which is perfect for accessories like shawls, hats, and cowls or for extra-special garments like vests and sweaters
