Intro to Crochet: Twisted Headband
New to crochet? This is the perfect place to start. In one sitting, you'll learn the basics and walk out with a finished (or close to finished!), wearable project.
Kelly will teach you the foundational stitches from scratch: how to make a slip knot and chain, how to work single and double crochet, and how to read a simple pattern. You'll put it all together to make a cozy, stretchy headband — a great first project because it's small, fast, and forgiving of a few wobbly stitches along the way.
When: Sunday, Oct 11, 12:00–2:00pm
Materials Needed: Everything's included! Your class fee covers the yarn (one skein of Vientos) and a crochet hook (5 or 5.5mm) — just bring yourself.
Experience Level: Beginner — no experience necessary.
Skills Needed: None! This class starts from the very beginning.

- Fastening off and weaving in ends
