Blossoms are yarn cakes of joy! Hand-dyed in nature-inspired gradients that create one continuous, color-changing project. 

Why we chose this yarn: There’s a unique dying process for this yarn - each cake begins as a sock blank before being expertly hand-dyed and spun into its signature cake form. This yarn has a luxurious and soft feel against the skin and is perfect for summer shawls because it’s easy to use the natural color gradient to make a stunning piece that lets the yarn shine.

• Fingering/sock (14 wpi) 3-ply
• 4 oz / 113 g
• 475 yds / 389 m
• 28-30 sts (4 in / 10 cm)
• US 0 - 3 (2.00-3.25 mm)
• B-E (2.25 - 3.5 mm)
• 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon
• Hand-wash gently in cool water. You can also use the delicate cycle in your machine if it’s truly gentle. A small amount of mild shampoo or your favorite wool wash is recommended. A touch of hair conditioner works beautifully to keep fibers soft and silky. Rinse in cool water, being careful not to agitate. Press our excess water with a towel (no wringing or twisting). Lay flat to dry, reshaping your project as needed.
• Treat your handmade pieces with the same care you’d give a favorite wool sweater or scarf — a little gentleness goes a long way!
