Who doesn't love a good cardigan, with soft yarn and a snuggly collar?

Join Michelle on Thursday afternoons as she leads a study group to knit the

REBEL cardigan by ANKESTRiCK

This isn't a traditional class—it's a study group.

Rather than following a formal lesson plan from an instructor who has completed this project before, we'll learn alongside one another. Michelle will facilitate discussions, help troubleshoot challenges, answer questions, and keep everyone moving forward as we work our way through the pattern.

Schedule:

6 sessions total

    • Thursday, August 20  1:00-2:30 PM - Kickoff
    • Thursday, August 27  1:00-2:30 PM
    • Thursday, September 3  1:00-2:30 PM
    • Thursday, September 17 1:00-2:30 PM *tentative, depends on group progress
    • Thursday, September 24 1:00-2:30 PM *tentative, depends on group progress
    • Thursday, October 1  1:00-2:30 PM *tentative, depends on group progress

Cost:

Standard Six-session Study Group pass: $50.

Registration is required so we can reserve your seat.

What You'll Need:

NOTHING FOR THE FIRST MEETING!  August 20th is a project planning meeting, we will review the pattern requirements, talk about measurements and how to determine yardage needed, and which yarns will be a good fit for the project.

It was designed holding a Sport weight + Lace (Mohair/silk)= Worsted

But a variety of options could work for this sweater. You do not have to buy our yarn to do the study group, but you will receive extra loyalty points for yarn bought from us for the pattern.

This study group is ideal if you:

  • Already know the basics of knitting.
  • Want to make this cardigan
  • Learn well through discussion and hands-on practice.
  • Appreciate encouragement and accountability from other knitters.

What's the difference between this and a class?

Classes focus on structured instruction from an expert who teaches a specific skill or project.

Study Groups focus on learning together. Your facilitators guide discussion, answer questions, and help troubleshoot, but the emphasis is on exploration, collaboration, and applying concepts from the workbook as a group.

What if I can't make it?

We understand that things come up! All class fees are non-refundable, however, they can be partially applied to a different session or a different future class.
