Named for the beloved Scottish veterinarian James Herriot, this is an updated version of one of the original yarns when Juniper Moon Farm first launched.
Herriot Fine from Juniper Moon Farms is a soft & huggable fingering weight yarn spun from ultra soft, extra fine baby alpaca. That means it's incredibly warm, cozy, and has a beautiful drape ideal for items to wrap around yourself. The nylon gives the yarn durability for the most incredible socks - soft but not slouchy! A gentle halo gives the yarn a beautiful glow & even the simplest of stitch patterns are gorgeous.
Why we chose this yarn: Sarah and Michelle found this yarn on their recent trip to H&H in Chicago and couldn’t get enough of its softness.
