Combed top that has been hand dyed using acid dyes by Jenny of AJEM Fiber Arts.  Jenny is a local artist, with a beautiful sense of color who loves spinning and creating gorgeous colorways on single breed fiber.  

Each braid is approximately 4 ounces combed top from Targhee sheep (26 micron). The Targhee breed was developed in the United States in the 1920s as a dual-purpose breed. The fibers are soft, lofty, and have good elasticity and resilience.  Great for spinning and felting.
